By complaining, nagging, reacting, demanding and feedback - these are ways how to program someone. You say something and then you appear as little inner critic in other people minds - your voice pops up in target's head and they obey your message.
Quick fix for social anxiety, external referencing would be to be aware of it as a floating space state and realize it is up to me to find my foothold/stronghold in any ambiguity - instead of searching for other people, their approval, opinions, reactions.

Contingent self esteem. The tendency to change one's self-evaluation based on feedback. It's controlled by others and requires meeting their standards in order to learn value or worth as a person. So look inward for what makes your self-esteem. Instead of relying on other people.
Do not push your best self all the time. Instead be yourself. Allowing yourself to have some bad hair days, lazy days, awkward moments, perfectly normal experiences without judging yourself. Perfection is boring.

If our self worth is based on ourselves -other people would not have the power anyway. If we feel compelled to "teach" someone anything - it is sign that we are problem, we are inferior and see others as superior ones who are needed to be alerted
